pee wee herman's bike...

I took this pic today to show my son in florida my new brake and clutch levers and adjustable footpegs....when i saw it i couldn't help remember Pee wee's big adventure...lol...enjoy...

PeeWee's bike had a lot of mirrors on it if I remember right?

he had every conceivable tacky add-on lol. I want one of those rotating display tables...i think he had that..lol.

Thanks for the compliment. the new control stuff works great. I had to modify my shift lever for length as well as adjust it up because i raised the pegs and inch and a quarter and put them back an inch. i also fabricated a new peg for it and made it come out for better engagement with my cowboy or work boots.

Overall, the comfort and character of the bike was pretty good. now it's perfect for me. i'm only 5'6" and 170 pounds in gear. This is a big bike and now it feels right. I lowered the stock mirrors too and it improved the airflow around my head a whole lot. Also the visibility behind is full view now.

Those are some pretty nice pegs though. Where did you find them? I wonder if they would fit on my Guzzi. :)

they are slingshot racing adjustable pegs i found on amazon. They weren't cheap, but they ARE exactly what i wanted.. I don't see them for yours, but here is a page you may like
