So... I recently lost my key. I've searched everywhere. Nowhere to be found.

I'm trying to take my ignition switch out so that I can retrieve the key code and get a new key made.

I'm also searching for a technical service manual.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the manual?

Also, if anyone knows where I could find any good videos for removal of an ignition switch, that would be helpful as well.

Can't help much but I DO know that it'll go much better if you disconnect the battery ground while fooling around with the parts that carry power.
Melting the wires would only add to your difficulties.
