Just some pics of a ride we did last weekend around the Springfield, Yellow Springs, Waynesville area of Ohio. Scan rides the green '03 Kawasaki ZRX1200R and my dad was on the blue/black '05 Suzuki C50.

Nice pics! Nice bikes, too. I'm sure it was a great time. Every time I see that green I like it better. Most pics don't do it justice, but yours did.

Yeah, that Z-Rex is a good-lookin' bike. I have a feeling Scan was a bit bored riding with us, though. My dad will do five over the speed limit tops.

Great shots and some really nice bikes. Looks like y'all had fun.



I wasn't too sure about the green, either, but it quickly became my favorite color (see avatar).

No doubt. Scan wants to get me, you, Loonette (his wife), and him together for a ride on the "triple-nickel" (Route 555 in S.E. Ohio) so we can have two green ZRX's and two blue Meanies together for some pics.

What say you?

Love to, depends on when, though. I'm facing a possible career change in the next few weeks which would mean moving back to Virginia, but I'm sure something could be planned since any move would probably be many weeks away. Wife would most likely want to attend on her bike, too.


btw, aren't you embarrassed to be on that big, excessive machine?

Not sure about the logistics, but I'm game any weekend. I guess it's up to Scan and Loonette to come up with a sitter for the day.

Had a great time myself Zoo, and look forward to doing so again. Either with or without your Dad. He's a great guy and enjoyed his company as well. I hope I came off OK to him as well. I tend to spend enough time in my life with my foot in my mouth that my shoes must all have teeth marks on the tips.

I do know we are due to carve up a few corners together when we can next.

Anyway, I don't have time to post my shots yet, but when I get a chance I'll tack mine on the end of this thread. If you can get any of your Dad's too, there might be a shot or two where you can see the real life Zoo and Scan in the same shot!

Regarding the 2x ZRX and 2x Mean Streak trip I'm not sure if we can logistically pull that off here, but I'll keep you guys posted after the especially busy week. Near the end of this week I'll have time to stop back in here and talk more about that.
