I wear whatever fits. I bought a Kabuto this past year. Prior to trying it on in the store I'd never heard of this brand, but this is the one that fit best so I bought it. I have a big head and wear glasses - it was a challenge finding something comfortable. I used to wear HJC's but the new ones aren't fitting me nywhere near as well as the older ones.

I have found that one brand may fit you one year...but then the next year they made them different so you have to start over looking for a good fit.

So far, I have worn KBC, Ikon, Shark, Scorpion. All good the first time...but not the next time.

I wear a SchubertJ1 in summer. This jet possesses a wide visor and an removable arch of safety in front of the chin. Cheeks are also very widely protected. For the bad seasons, a full-face Scorpion 1000 Air, with pump of inflating cheeks to adjust it at best. Very comfortable, in spite of an a little bit rough lining.

Anyone use a helmet that is quiet enough to eliminate the need for ear plugs/hearing protection when on a long haul?

Interesting question. I don't think such a helmet exists, but I'd love to be proved wrong! Anyone?

My favorite helmet, I've owned four, is Nolan. I like their modular model the best.
