The mufflers on my yamaha 650 have holes in them. I see replacement mufflers all over with no crossover. Anyways, I planned on just getting the slip on type and eliminating the crossover. Is this a bad idea? My brother told me I need the crossover for backpressure and coolong purposes so I don't burn valves ect. Is this correct?
