Hey folks!
After about 5 years trapped in a cage i am back in an area i can ride regularly and will be going about getting my license again and getting something with 2 less wheels then my current honda.
Rode an SV650 when i was in college for a year or so, looking at entry level curisers to get the hang of it again before moving up to something more my size. Probably going to aim for Honda ShadowRS or H-D Sportsters for a now, something easy to ride and easy to buy and resell.
Anyhow, i hope to reconnect with those i knew from back then and make new friends as i chronicle my progress and seek guidance and comic relief from yall along the way!

Welcome back James.

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Thanks folks!
Just looking now at MSF courses in my area, they are booked up! i have to check with my work life but i hope to be in one and licensed again by the end of may. Find myself on cycle traders and ebay motors more and more just looking at the bikes in my area. My friend let me take his dyna around the block a few times. I was surprised and how unrusty i was and was reminded just how great it feels to be on 2 wheels!!
Im excited to get back into the saddle and to start up a blog about getting my upcoming bike back into running shape and then about the aspects of relearning how to ride well and all the fun places there are to ride here in Southern California.

Signed up for my MSF class, scheduled for memorial day weekend. Off to the local H-D and kawasaki dealers to try on some helmets. : )hopefully i can write about how helpful everyone is and how well the class goes and not the horrors of salespeople and the arrogance of the instructors!
