Mechanics

Not sure if this is the right forum, but eh. Couldn't hurt. Does anyone have any resources to learning the mechanics of motorcycles? I'm already working on finding a copy of "The Essential Guide to Motorcycle Maintenance." But are there any places to learn this type of thing online? Thanks in advance.

I went to the city library and they had books on bikes and some repair manuals. Unfortunately they did not have the one that I needed. You may have a better selection where you are.

Doubt that. This deep south... it's like the old west. Only with more Mexico.

You can pick up service manuals for specific bikes.. it usually has enough information for all your maintenance needs. Try amazon, ebay, half.com, etc

I have been trying to get a repair manual for my 700 maxim and I am having trouble getting the exact manual. Bye the way I was born in La Grulla Tx.

I am going to try the ebay again. The reason I mention La Grulla is that is deep South and I know where you are coming from. If you have a certian problem with your bike post it and some one may be able to help you with it.

i actually seriously checked through this site yesterday and it is a great wealth of knowledge...
but all the god struff is kind of creepy...but hey we cant all be perfect.
