ugh, the c-spec is the ugly "O Ring" 'cafe racer' variant. Hard to give that an awesome. I have the more traditional bobber look. Even still, no awesome from me even though i own it. for the price and the size i think it is totally Cool worthy though. Good tech, good fun at a decent price. a true competitor to the H-D Sportster and worthy adversary of the Bonneville.


All the extra plastic and decorative stuff on this c-spec is too much though!.

I personally love the looks of the C-spec, Awesome for me.

Although I like the look of the Bolt....and it is very nimble, shifts, brakes and accelerates well.....

it is probably THEE most uncomfortable ride I have ever tried.

I'll have to give it a cool for what it is.....

It is definitely for people who don't have back problems and who are a bit shorter in stature. I found it to be a bit cramped.

The demo ride I did was only half an hour....but I could hardly wait for the ride to end.

Cool, and lots of really good Bolt customs are popping up. The "clocks" are quite annoying though. Considering the style of the Bolt, couldn't they have stuck with a classic analogue gauge?

I voted: Cool.

It's hard to fault the recent Café Racer trend. Manufacturers want to sell bikes, riders want bikes that are cool and affordable. Take a naked bike, add some components that are affordable to it and you got just that. Café Racers were never about comfort, it's was a lifestyle, an attitude, a way of riding. Started in London, riders would literally race from café to café at illegal speeds and do the must insane riding on unsafe bikes you have ever witnessed. Something like the Isle of Man TT I would imagine. I rode with the Houston Ace Café riders for a bit and they were insane, especially when it consisted of buckets of beer at each stop and speeds over 100km/h on 50km/h roads. But that's the lifestyle of a Rocker.

Back to the bike. The C-Spec is a Café Racer that unfortunately fills the look aspect but misses on actually being a café racer. At 542 lb it's just too heavy and would come last for sure. Strip it back to 400lbs by ditching everything not needed, spruce up the suspension, add a few go-fast mods and got a winner.

Still a cool as it stands though.

Yep. I think they're the worst instruments I'm aware of on any current production bike. I mean, why even have a round binnacle if you're going to use some generic square partsbin LED display?

Ya, I'll agree as well, considering the bike is a hark back to the old school, it's a shame not to have used traditional clocks. The LCD and the type of LCD display is a poor choice. That said, at least it's not a big square iPhone thingy....lol.
