ATLANTA (June 18, 2015) – The AMA Pro Flat Track series heads to the historic Hagerstown Half-Mile in Hagerstown, Md. on Saturday, June 20 as Triumph riders Brandon Robinson and Jake Shoemaker look to continue their early season success in GNC1 competition.

Brandon Robinson, #44 Latus Motors Racing / Castrol / Triumph, currently sits third in the point standings after podium finishes at Daytona and Sacramento. He’s looking to build off last year’s fourth place finish at Hagerstown to close the 11-point gap to the championship leader.

“Hagerstown is my home national per say, so I'm always excited to race there. It'll be great having so many family & friends attending,” said Brandon Robinson. “Hopefully we can get another good result and continue the great season the Latus Motors Racing team has been having thus far.”

Jake Shoemaker, #55 Bonneville Performance / Castrol / Triumph, has fond memories of Hagerstown after finishing in third place there last year and second in 2013. Shoemaker currently stands in 13th in the point standings this season.

“I’m always stoked to race at Hagerstown as it’s my favorite track and it's the first track I raced expert on a twin,” said Jake Shoemaker. “Each race the Bonneville Performance / Castrol / Triumph Bonneville has been getting better and we’re looking forward to continuing this throughout the year.”

Café Racer that, Bonneville Performance, Latus Motors Racing and Triumph invite local motorcyclists to take part in a special fan ride dubbed “Throttle to the Races”. The ride will begin in Baltimore, Md., stop for a free lunch at Fredericktown Triumph, then head to Hagerstown where they will have a private meet and greet with Robinson and Shoemaker. Ride participants will receive a $5 discount on tickets once they arrive at the racetrack.
