Solo or Two-up?

Practically all of my riding has been solo. I wouldn't mind if she did, but Herself doesn't care to ride (to put it politely) and to keep the peace I don't push the issue even though I think it would be great to share the experience. That said, I enjoy my time alone as I'm sure many riders do. It's cheap therapy in a manner of speaking.
How about you?

The only time I have ever really taken passengers is when I was dating.
Other than that, only when someone is in a bind and needs a ride. Riding two-up is no fun IMO....

Tend to agree with Bruce on this one.I dont mind two up if I have too but prefer Solo.

I've only been riding for a year, and took my wife with me 3 times last summer. It was a little unsettling to have her back there at first, but ok once I got used to it. She enjoyed it, but she said after awhile she got bored and wished that she had her own bike (yes!!!).
I can definitely say that as a new rider it really made me concentrate on smoothing out my starts, stops and shifts.

Don't mind either way - do more riding 2-up than solo nowadays anyway.
Will be great when she (Miss_C667) gets her own ride though

Well I charge by the peg, so it's really their choice. $10 for a ride, $5 per footpeg use. If they have a limp I raise the price on the corresponding peg.

When I first started riding, My wife was a passenger quite often. Now though, with two kids and a third due in less than two months....Let's just say our two-up riding will be short-lived when we are finally able to do it. We'll have to wait until baby is ready to do without mom for a couple of hours, then we can get a sitter and take the bike to dinner. I'm looking forward to that. My better half is, too.

I probably ride 90% of my miles solo. My wife says while I'm gone on the bike is the only time she has to get her house work done so she doesn't usually go with me. Sometimes she'll take a day ride with me but not very often. I like to go to rallys and sometimes will be gone for 2 or 3 days. I just can't seem to get her to go with me on this kind of trip although I'm sure she would have a good time. O well , more safety chrome for me I guess. It is cheaper to go by myself and she has had to put up with me every day for the last 31 years. she is probably glad to get rid of me for a couple days.
