Back in saddle after 20 years of no bike

So I used to ride small bikes when I lived in Asia after college, had a few small accidents but really cut my teeth riding all over the place. Also rented bigger bikes (650-750cc)
Now, my neighbor sold his Honda Shadow Sabre ACE VT1100 for a great price, wife lightened up on the no bike restriction (kids getting bigger I guess), and I bought it. Been riding every day since. Took DMV written and driving test and voila! Feels sooooo good!

At this point in my life 1100ccs feels just about perfect.

Sounds like a story many have shared on here, including myself. Family commitments made owning a bike very difficult. several years after the divorce, I took the plunge and dove back into the motorcycle lifestyle...

Hi guys,

I'm John, a former driving instructor from the UK who moved to America because of love (met my wife, Elizabeth, here). Soiboy, have you thought about selling it anyway? Just couldn't resist it - Honda Shadow Sabre ACE VT1100 is haunting me everywhere (perhaps the words "great price" made it on top of search, I don't know).
