@Beta factory racer Jesse Groemm finished Round 10 of the GNCC championship in 5th place after running as high as second. The young racer from New Jersey had to work hard from a bad start to reel in the lead pack.

Groemm explains, " I had a good race going from the start moved my way up to 2nd in XC2 in the first hour, I had a crash that caused me to fall back to 4th but I got going and made my way back up to third which I held for awhile until the last hour were I ran into some focusing issues and finished 5th. My 250 RR was handling great and my Kenda tires where keeping traction to the ground, a big thanks to Beta USA, team Manager Zack Huberty, and my mechanic Mike Medeiros."

Groemm currently sits 11th in the XC2 points after missing the first three rounds due to a concussion. Beta Team manager Zack Huberty was happy with his rider's performance,
"I'm ecstatic over Jesse's riding this weekend, staying with the lead pack early on and tying his best finish in XC2 of the year. We're right there for a podium finish at the remaining rounds. We were also happy to have Oriol Mena over for his first GNCC experience in the XC1 class. I'm looking forward to the National enduro this coming weekend in Indiana."

Groemm's teammate Cory Buttrick raced a 430 RR in the premier XC1 class and eventually finished the day in 10th.

The team had a special guest racer for the weekend courtesy of one of their dealers in Florida. Adventure PS helped WEC regular Oriol Mena from Spain who made the trip to New York aboard a specially-prepared 430 RR. Mena finished 13th in the XC1 class and seemed to have a good time racing in America.

Oriol Mena found the GNCC race quite different than the World Championship Enduro events

The Beta factory team has a busy weekend starting with Round 9 of the AMA National Enduro championship while the West coast Endurocross team will be at Sleep Train arena in Sacramento California for 5 of the EX series.
