Hello, I have few questions, how difficult is it to change the brakes( rear and front) in a Katana 02 Gsxf 750, and the second one, do you bring the motorcycle to the dealer or to a mechanic for regular maintenace? Thank you

Bike brakes are very easy to do, assuming you've done brake work of some kind before.

My bike only goes into the shop for transmission work (like the clutch I had replaced on my NightHawk), otherwise I'll work on whatever is necessary. I even replaced the head on my first bike, all I need is a Clymer's and a couple free afternoons.

About the rear pads, would you use the EBC(kevlar&HH0 or the Galfer black pads? Most of the time I'm driving around the town sometimes highway, thanks.

i went with galfer black pads, ive herd good things about ebc though. if you use EBC your not supposed to use the little metal shim on the back of the pad... not sure why, ive never used the EBC pads myself.
