Can't get my bike to run

Hello All,
Yesterday I changed the oil and cleaned the carb on my 1980 cm200t. I also looked over and reset the throttle cable. I thought this would have been the fix for the bike not starting, which turned out to not be the case last night..
- Today I have been trying to work on it, so I checked to make sure it is getting spark and the spark plugs are good, which both turned out to be okay. Yet I still cant get it to run. It may also have just been a coincidence but when I hit the front brake the engine sounded as if it was running better....
Any ideas?
