Turn signals.

Replacing my turn signals (front and rear) they appear the same. My new ones are two wires. The front ones have two while the rears on the bike atm only have one. Thought maybe they were grounded internally. I hooked up the hot and tested it figuring I'd need to ground it. But the light works without the ground being hooked to anything. Why is this?

The frame is ground. Power comes in on the wire and leaves on the frame.

Hmmmm. I wonder what the other wire is on my signal then. It's green if that helps.

How many contacts are on the base of the bulb? If there's only one then the green wire is likely just a ground for Euro spec bikes, as their practice is to use ground wires rather than frame ground. If there's two contacts, then they are meant to be used as running lights/signal lights on the front.

Got it all figured out. Ground wires in the back were grounded to the bolt stalk. Front was wired into the bucket. All done now.
