(Kinda) New Bike Day

I've had my C10 Connie for about 4 years, and about a year ago I started itching for something different. The Connie is a great bike, but it's lack of airflow and furnace blast engine make it a poor choice for the Deep South climate. In the process of shopping for a new bike, my wife and I discovered we were having another baby, so I bought a Yukon instead. In the following year, I found myself riding less and less because I just refused to tolerate riding in that heat anymore. A few months ago a buddy of mine jokingly told me I should just take the fairings off, but the more I though about it, the more I liked the idea. So after two months of reading the web, looking at aftermarket stuff, and a wiring diagram, I am mostly finished with the project. I have some Delkevic slip-ons that I'm going to put on in the next week or two, but everything else is done.

The project has served its purpose, I wish I'd done this year ago. Some things are just better naked.
