just saying hi. Last summer I acquired my dad's Yamaha Radian YX 600s; it hadn't been started in 16 yrs. I talked him into handing the bike over to me to monkey around with; in the meantime, I signed up for an MSF course for beginners. While waiting for the course, my friend and I started going through the bike - lo and behold, it's now running. Took MSF course last summer, passed and by the time fall arrived I was able to get approx 50-60 miles under my belt. It still has the original tires, I know...... and I just ordered some new ones. Hoping to get those put on tomorrow or the next day. I started it up this past wkend and getting it ready for spring. After tires, I'm gonna put on a new tach; the current one has seen better days. Again - just saying hi and getting my feet wet as a new rider. :D

Dropped bike off tonight for tires. I asked they look at front brakes ( binding a little ) as well as new choke cable. Hope to have time on Sunday for a ride as its supposed to be nice out.
