Hi! I'm a new here

Well, I'm just getting into riding. My husband and I were lucky enough to fine my dream bike on Craigslist 2 or 3 months ago, but I'm a Masters student so.....not much free time. My 1996 purple and black 1100cc Honda Shadow American Classic Edition is belive it or not only has two small blemishes that you really have to look to find. And...it has less than 12,000 miles on it. 
Did I mention we got it for $1,600 *blushes* from a man who had a cast from hand to elbow, he said soccer but....Im not convinced:) As soon as hubby puts my engine gaurds it's gonna leave the garage. I couldn't be more trilled!! I am excited to get to know some of you and talk about motorcycles. My husband has 30+ years of experience but...sometimes you just need a female perspective.
