Re: THIS WEEK: 2017 Indian Springfield - VOTE NOW
Meh.....another big cruiser in an already overcrowded segment.......both the sport bike and cruiser market segments are far too overcrowded, often with manufacturers offering basically the same models but with minor cosmetic tweaks.
Always ask why.

I, for one, love the look of cruisers. This looks very nice. I like it because it doesn't have big fat fairings in the way.

Re: THIS WEEK: 2017 Indian Springfield - VOTE NOW
I went with: Cool
I'll just put this out on the stoop and see if the cat licks it up but It's 50's retro done right IMO. I think (and I'm not knocking them) H-D could pick up a few styling cues from the Springfield. H-D loves retro, heritage and history. There current batch of cruisers, while are retro-inspired, just don't look retro 50's. And for whatever reason, the 50's are in (Triumph Bobber anyone?). So Indian has done a great job running this up the flag pool and getting people to salute it!
The price is what keeps the 2017 Indian Springfield from being awesome... at $21-26k, that's new car price!

True, but from the looks of the 2014-2017 model years, the sportbike and cruiser segment is dying; which is a real shame... Could be then why the manufacturers are not "going out on a limb" anymore.
