Three decades ago Suzuki revolutionized sport bikes with the introduction of the GSX-R750. Ever since then, the GSX-R750 has remained true to its original concept and championship-winning heritage. On the road or on the track, the GSX-R750 delivers a breathtaking combination of outstanding engine performance, crisp handling, compact size and light weight. Its secret is an unequaled pairing of 750cc performance with the lightweight, compact chassis of a 600cc Supersport, complemented by technologically advanced suspension front and rear. Try a GSX-R750 and you’ll quickly realize this motorcycle defines performance riding from the center of the sportbike class.

Honda’s new CB1000R is like a triple-shot of espresso for your motorcycling soul—black, no sugar. You get a high-revving 998cc four-cylinder engine, throttle-by-wire and Honda Selective Torque Control. Plus, check out the minimalist rear fender and four-into-one exhaust.

The winner of this week's THIS OR THAT will go on and fight the challenger next week. The overall winners will be determined how many weeks they can beat the competition.

Enjoy!
Mike

Oh wow, what a pairing... so hard to choose!

I went with the Honda because I love it's modern, compact styling and the fact that it's a 1000CC and I think I'd love to really give that a go. What gave me a chuckle is that it was the Kawasaki review which touted "compact chassis"... Umm... have they seen the photos in today's this or that...???

Something about the Honda captures my desires more than the boring Suzuki styling. Seems the performance would be about equal. Either way not a big fan of eating bugs but believe the Honda would be a smoother ride.

Might not be readable, but attempting to take the specifications from each bike and build a comparison chart of sorts.

Not my type of ride. ask about a standard and I'd pick a mid sized engine.

Gixxer for me, and I usually go for the bike with the biggest engine.

Naked vs. faired bike, I'd probably take the naked. Honda wins.
