KTM 1290 Super Adventure S vs R Comparison

Beautiful ride through Niagara wine country on the KTM Super Adventure S. I rode the R version a couple of days earlier but unfortunately lost the footage. Still, it was fresh in my mind so I compare the two. They are both ridiculously amazing bikes. I run through a lot of the details and impressions that typical moto journalists don't have time to talk about in their vids. Enjoy and let me know of your experiences with KTMs.

Demo rides at Clares? I was hoping to get a demo ride when I’m in the area next weekend but no luck. Weekend after is Yamaha demo days too. Lol.

I don't know why they do demos during the week when most people are working.

Thinking of a 1290 Adventure S to replace my Multistrada when the time comes. The Duck is awesome but there is roughly $7000 difference out the door. I already have an Africa Twin so I would have no need for the Adventure R.

Of maybe I should just get the 1290 S to replace them both!

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure R priced at RM 111,321 while the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S motorcycle has a price tag of RM 108,491 . Comparing the technical specifications, KTM 1290 Super Adventure S engine displacement is 1301 while the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R houses a 1301 engine.
