I recently bought my first ever motorcycle, a 2003 Kawasaki ER5 and I stumbled upon some trouble licensing it for A2 (EU). I need the stock exhaust but I can't seem to find one anywhere.
So I was thinking that I could use the exhaust from a GS500 since both motorcycles are sort of close in size and from what I've seen on the internet both exhausts look similar and maybe, just maybe I could get away with it. Is such a thing possible or am I an idiot?
Can I swap exhausts between different motorcycles?

Probably not able to switch between kawi and a Suzuki. But your bike has the same engine as any 500 ninja, and there should be a stock exhaust on eBay for one of those.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need the stock exhaust for your Licence? Is it a noise thing? Emissions? If so, you can most likely get a slip on that would do what you need.

If you still need an original exhaust for your bike, try boonstraparts. They offer use original motorcycle parts.
