O.K., because of work my riding season has been seriously shortened. I've been meaning to get heated gear for quite some time but never got around to it. I would like to start with a vest that has the ability to be added on to later if I spring for the gloves etc...... So do any of you guys have experience with any of this stuff? Any good sources for a great deal?( I wanna be warm yet still cheap ) I'm hoping for an extended summer.....or a nice trip south with the bike in the back of the truck in January......

You better come and live on the coast. Goretex, a fleece and wool socks would do the trick.

Aerostictch sells some great stuff, but the top of the line I believe is Gerbings - Universal Cycle and Anderwerks both sell Gerbings - very expensive stuff though.
