Hey all. Looking to see what type of fuel other people are running in their old bikes. I recently picked up an 85 Virago. Any thoughts?

In my older bikes, I just ran regular fuel and they never complained. I remember trying premium but never found a difference, but this was ~13 years ago for my 1982 bike and before adding ethanol was a thing. The issue today I would imagine would be that percentage of ethanol, I know it does affect plastic fuel parts in your tank.

Well done BTW on keeping your '85 on the road and going. Great to see vintage still rolling.

Bump your pilot and main jets up a size and turn your A/F screws out 2.5 turns and keep using 87. The changes will make better use of the oxygenated ethanol fuel.
