Good mornin all,...
Im a newbie here and I always just have a habit of doin a intro when comin into somebody else's house.
Been ridin for a good number of years and diff brands.Located on the East Coast,Western Maryland. I seem to have a weakness for older bikes but not a lot of salt/experience about 'em. Came onboard to learn more and be with like minded folk.
My 1st sled was a '73 TX 650 and sure would like to see if I can find 1 to restore but looking for 1 in half decent shape to start off with.Dont want a total project bike as I dont want this 1 to be the bike I cut my teeth on as a full rebuild.
Anybody have some ideas where to begin this search at other than all the obvious normals that I have already done(ebay,etc..)?
Talk to me?....

With the arrival of Spring we are again past 3000 online at any moment. Winter is always a slow time (anywhere) for motorcycling... businesses, dealerships and I just can't seem to find snow tires for my bike either! LOL.

I used to own one brand new, and it wasn’t a bad bike in its day though it did vibrate. Don’t forget they are an old bike now and new bikes are so much more advanced in every way. It’s probably either worn out or needs a thorough going over... air filter, fuel filter, plugs, valve clearances, carbs etc etc.
