Hello.
So it'll be my first bike. I've ridden a Honda moped a bunch in the past hahah.. I'm a woman. 5'8 about 130 lbs. I'm real strong for my size honestly. I can handle a lot so don't understandestimate me. I just really need unbiased opinions and experiences.

So a 2003 Honda Shadow 15000 miles 1100cc.
2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 12000 miles 800cc.
& Just saw another one I'm interested in as well.
2007 Honda Shadow 2600 miles 600cc.

Would appreciate any feedback.

So funny story, my wife and I owned that exact pair of motorcycles, a 2001 Vulcan 800 and a 2003 Shadow 750. They were both very competent and comfortable bikes, and either would make a great choice.

The Shadow 1100 is going to have a bit more power than the Vulcan 800, which is a plus as both of our bikes were a little underpowered for all-day riding on the freeway. The Shadow 600 will be very tame, plenty of power for a beginner but chances are you'll want to step up to something larger after your first few months.

Lastly, have you taken a beginners riding class or considered it?

Given your experience and strength, the 2003 Honda Shadow 1100cc offers more power but is heavier, while the 2007 Honda Shadow 600cc might be easier to handle and is in better condition with lower mileage. The Kawasaki Vulcan 800cc strikes a balance between power and manageability.

Ultimately, it depends on what you’re looking for in terms of power and handling. Test riding each bike, if possible, will help you decide which feels right for you.
