1986 Suzuki Intruder VS700 Knock?
Just bought this bike for 500 bucks. Curious if any of you may know what this knock might be?
It does not really change with temperature. Seems consistant. Just changed the oil, and still nothing new.
Thanks for the help. Wondering if I got a good deal, or a bad engine about to blow.

Sounds like a rode knock. Yes that would most likely be the easiest way to fix this, is to remove the motor. Be sure that there is no damage done to the cylinder walls and etc.

Bring it to a shop and get a good tune up done. For 500 bucks, you can spend an hour or two shop rate and still come out ahead.
