Hey, im 19 i live in Elk Grove, CA.
I'm a car nut, so i cant help being drawn to motorcycles...I'd like to learn how to ride, but i dont know anyone willing to teach me. Im smart, mechanically inclined, can drive a stick, and could probably teach myself if i only had a bike to learn on. I was Just wondering if anyone in my area might have a beater bike and some spare time? Or just a beater bike and some open space...lol?

I just want to get a feel for riding, so that i could confirm a new passion and at least be able to test ride starter bikes.

Thanks

The MSF course is your best bet. I've seen people that have never ridden before take the class and come out with the basics skills to ride

hey, register for the MSF course at the Safety Center on Bradshaw. It's $200, but you get invaluable training, a chance to practice on someone else's bike, plus it earns your license.
