I see this bike listed on the Yamaha UK website, but don't see it on 2006 models page for US.

Does that mean we didn't get it? :( :(

Yeah, just curious: how much effort / cash overhead to import something to N.A. from Europe?

Has anyone done that?

Well, There's alot of paperwork. The real PIA is that you have to get certain things on the bike changed ... DOT approved tires, headlights, rear lights, emissions equipment (Big one!) and on fuel injected bikes a complete remap, carbed bikes, rejetting.

The problem is you can only have this done at a Federally Recommended shop. Meaning, these guys know they are the only gig in town, they will charge an arm and a leg.

It can cost thousands (Including the shipping) but it really depends on the shop.
