Did someone's powertrain have problems with sudden traction?

If its anything like riding a 4-wheeler on asphalt or pavement, it gets totally out of control at relatively low speed due to the knobby tires....

NO. The dude next to me dumped the clutch at the 3rd shift, wheelied, then came over and swiped my front end doing about 40 mph. I only had my bike for 2 weeks. It got a few minor scratches. but the other guys bike was messed up. He was on a XR650L.

we do it all the time.... wears out tires damn quick tho. just gotta be careful, and get used to riding on pavement. and yes, we are well aware of the drivetrain stress.

Dumped the clutch on the shift to 3rd and was only doing 40?
Drag racing is for those bikes with low or no fenders, round tires and a lot of power......
