Are there any female members of the forum out there who are mothers? When did you start to ride - pre or post motherhood?

If it helps, my wife started riding pillion with me in our teens. Our first child my son started riding at age six and my daughter at age seven. At 16 my son was riding my Guzzi SP 1000 and my daughter now 17 has been full time on the road since 16 on her 125 scooter.

how about showing us a pic of your thirteen year old daughter.
It's only gentlemanly to try and assist where you can. My 16 year old daughter saw this post and wants to know if you are a mentally challenged pervert for asking for pictures of young girls.

My wife is one! She started riding about 12 years ago, cut back quite a bit when we had kids (still got out once in a while), then got back into it this year. She bought herself a new Ducati Monster to celebrate!

I'm a mutha (something or another).
In a nutshell - I'm almost 38, been with the same guy for 20 years, my two kids are ages 8 and 10. I had always wanted to ride, but with financial issues, and then having the kids, I kept putting it off until I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm just coming up to my second year of riding. Life is great!!
Cheers,
Loonette

Loonette;
Did you have any initial qualms about getting astride and out on the road? i.e fears about the effect any accidents etc might have on your children.
