Found a Suzuki GT750 project bike on ebay. Freaky part is the guy is local and only lives a couple of miles away.

The bike is a project bike and currently has a bid of $50 on it.
Apparantly the engine turns over but doesn't run (owner doesn't know why).

Other problem is the bike has no title.

Question #1. how hard are parts to get for the Watercooled suzuki GT750s.

Question #2. should I put a bid in this bike. Or steer clear of it. Im willing to put work into the bike to restore it but if parts are impossible to get than there is no point of course. Also not sure how hard it would be to get a title on this bike.

Just looked up the GTs specs. The damn thing is a 2 stroke.

two strokes are cool!!

I like two strokes, they can turn stupendous RPMs and make a lot of power, make an awesome sound too. I just saw a GT750 the other day and it was a cool looking bike. My friend used to have a Kawasaki 750 triple two stroke, I wanted to buy it but it got sold before I was riding.

I used to have a '71 kawasaki H1 mach III ... snakey but fast bike

I've heard 2 strokes can be a maintainance nightmare with frequest top end rebuilds. Also heard they use a lot more gas than a 4 stroke.

Since this will be my first bike I figured to play it safe and stick with a 4 stroke.

I would also venture to guess that a GT750 is not gonna be easy to get parts for
