CV Carb Slide Diaphragm Repair It works!

Just came a cross a good fix for those torn or cracked CV carb slide diaphragms.
So many people have been asking how to fix these even my self a few yrs. back asked the same question.
One thing people said to try was super glue which I did and it failed after a day or two.
Luckily I found a pair of new ones for $35.00 and my CB was back up and running.
Now it seems I can't find this deal any more.
I few weeks a go I picked up a 81 KZ440 LTD the bike was in real good shape and only 10K miles so for $50.00 home it came.
The only problem I found was one of the CV diaphragm in one carb was ripped so I decided to give it a fixing before attempting to find a new pair.
I had a bottle of glue that I used to repair torn carb to head boots that worked out very well (one yr. and still going).
So I thought what the hell give it a try.
"ELMERS PROBOND" Polyurethane Ultimate Glue
Put it over the cracked area both sides allowed to dry and tried it out.
It worked synced the carbs and it's held up for over two weeks now.
so for $3.00 U.S. at Wal-Mart it's worth the try.
Good Luck!
Mike
