Italy or Japan?

#1 Unread post by Shnailpower »

Figured i'd ask the "expeierenced" biker dudes about 'dis. I was wondering what the better value is between the two countries (Italy and Japan). what one is better to ride, which is better for full out speed and which one you (opinions) like better. jus' wondering, thanx.

Italy is a beautiful country from what I have seen with a lot of nice roads for riding. I know very little about Japan, but I have heard it is quite expensive.

Japan has Wangan which gets turned into a racetrack on most nights of the week. They also get a lot of earthquakes there.

the Wangan could be considered a good riding road as it is quite curvy, just is entirely inside tokyo so its not a country road

Never been to japan, but I road italy for almost 3 years. I recommmend it highly. especially if you can do it on a dual-purpose or something that can get off-road. Very cool place.

You can definitely speed more in Italy ...

yeah probably.

its also not been unheard of for the occasional skyline ,supra, or Hayabusa to break 200 on the wangan. Guess there is enough straightaway somewhere in japan to get a car or bike up to ungodly speeds. Of course when you have 1000hp (or a 300hp bike) you dont need much room to get up to speed.

I'm only a semi-experienced biker, but I'm a supremely qualified and very experienced eater.

A 280hp bike would be beyond scary. A stock busa is fast enough without help.

Ive seen a Busa Hit an 8.90 in the 1/4 at 6000' and this one did not have a turbo, but it did have a real hot blonde chick riding it.

I'd be confused. I wouldn't know whether to drool at the bike or the girl  .
