Firstly, I don't have a bubble butt. The factory seat is real pain in rear when going long distance. Suzuki gel seat looks comfy but can't find if the seat height will change much. I don't really want my feet any further from the earth but my butt needs a break. Does anyone have any experience with that and can offer some advice? Thanks! :humm:

Believe it or not, when it comes to seats the firmer the better. A gel seat sounds great in theory, but it will actually feel worse. My NightHawk had a big cushy seat from the factory, and I ended up with a lot of aches and pains because of it. When the new Corbin seat I ordered finally arrived, I was surprised by how firm it was. But after a three day trip to Chicago and back, none of the usual soreness showed up. I know they make aftermarket seats for the SV650, so I'd start there before wasting money on cushions.

If the gel seat is like the 1000's, I'm pretty sure it will drop about an inch or so. Almost all the aftermarket seats for the 1000's drop in height, which is one of my main reasons for not wanting one.

Thanks for the input, I'll always come here first before I decide on a purchase...hmm, I wonder if they make silicone butt implants?!

I don't know about the 650, but the 1000's seat is not very comfortable at all. I just eat enough donuts in the morning, and it starts feeling a little more cushy.

The SV seat isnt the best in the world. I have heard good things about both Corbin and gel seats. I dont think you could go wrong with either.

I have an SV650S & I didn't like the stock seat either. I purchased a gel seat from Suzuki but my wrist is still not healed so I can't try it out. I sat on it & it feels better...if that helps any. The reason I went with the gel is that it is $110 and corbin are like $225.
