Hi, I'm 18 and just bought a '94 250 Ninja... :D

I was wondering if anyone has experience painting their motorcycle? I have read a couple online articles on it, but I'm worried it wont turn out well. I'd like to hear other people's experiences!

Also, I've had to turn the idle up to about 8,000rpms because if I set it any lower it'll keep dropping until it quits. If it quits I have to compression start it...
And just today I went outside after about a day and a half of not checking on the bike and there was a rather large oil leak underneath it which seems to be coming from in front of the shifter.

I'm searching for mechanics in the area as I just started college in Fort Collins, but for the moment I'm on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums Ninja Girl............get your self a manual for your bike and you will be amazed at how much you can do your self . If you can follow recipes in a cook book (for example) you can wrench on your own scooter and feel really good about it .
Kindest regards, Wizzard
