Fuse question

So I blew the fuse between the positive lead on my battery, and where ever it's supposed to connect. For some reason, the previous owner of my bike, extended the positive cable from the battery, and had it rigged up to something. So while trying to get the bike to work, it turned out the wire I was holding was live, and I touched the frame, grounding it and blowing the fuse. Hopefully it stopped anythign else from blowing. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out why he did it, and looking for a new fuse. So the question is, on the fuse it says AGC 15A 32V, what does AGC mean? Obviously the fuse is rated for 15 Amps and 32 Volts, but I don't want to pick up any generic fuse, without knowing what AGC means. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks :D

AGC is just the prefix for glass cartridge fuses. Any glass cartridge fuse rated for 15 amps (normally 32V is standard will do).

If the fuse blew and you did not bypass it, all is well. The point of the fuse is to prevent damage to the circuitry.
