Fun with Gaskets!

#1 Unread post by Gilfy650a »

Okay, so i decided to attempt to fix the nighthawk, supposedly its not hard to replace the head and valve cover gaskets, but its tedious, which is okay so long as its possible.

Now my question is where do i find said gaskets, I looked a couple places but they had none. Advise? Comments? Concerns?

Tried BikeBandit.com?

Also might want to call or email Derek at MotoLab. Great guy, knows his stuff.

If you are going to the trouble of doing this job, make sure you buy quality gaskets. I recommend the "Athena" brand. You can order them through a bike dealer or hunt down a set on EBay.
