whats a TK 125?

a buddy of mine said he got a tk 125 bike, but i have no idea who makes it or what it is. dirt, cruiser standard etc. i googled but couldnt seem to find anything about it.

anyone got any info on them?

Suzuki made TL125, TS125 and TM125s in the 70s. Sure he's not talking about one of those. I did find a reference to a Clymer manual (v-5019)that covered Suzuki TK125 and TK185, but it didn't have any info on what it was. The lack of info on the net would lead me to believe that they weren't a popular model.

all googling TK 125 got me was lots of pages on pricing of stuff in bangladesh (TK is the symbol for their currency).

and there is a galaxy called Suzuki TK.

he said its some no name chinese company that makes it. also its a dual sport i think. oh well, hopefully ill see it in a few days and see whats going on. just odd to not find anything at all, unless hes mistaken on the model name.

he actually just dropped it yesterday and was asking how hard it is to fix turn signals lol

said he was going to take it to the local dealer(i assume where he bought it) to have them fix it.

They have a local dealer? Amazing! One of the reasons it's hard to get any info on some Chinese bikes is that there may be one factory putting out a bike that's sold under several different names (none of which is the actual factory that makes it). The bikes are sold as a commodity to the middleman, who has to come up with distribution and parts support on his own.
