Yamaha exhaust and beginner bikes

i was wondering if anyone knew what year yamaha started modifying the exhausts so they flowed under the seat or tail. specifically the yamaha R6 i would really like to get that bike. im still not sure yet if u have anyone input on both things exhaust and good beginners that would be great thanks just saving for now..

Yamaha didn't run the exhaust under the seat to be beginner friendly. They run it under the seat for cornering clearnce for racing.
Yamaha isn't in the business of building beginner sportbikes anymore and none of their sportbikes are beginner friendly.
none of the 600 super sports are beginner friendly, way more power then you think, and not forgiving at all
