The Basic Rider Course should provide bikes for each student. In our area the BRC is a great way to learn *and* get out of the DMV motorcycle skills test... so most of the students don't have licenses yet, and most don't own bikes.

The Experienced Rider Course expects you to have 9+ months riding experience, at least 3000 miles experience, and to bring your own bike.

Where are you? I'd be happy to look up info specific to your area if you can't find it. most places will have a web address that will tell you everything you need to know.

ALot of the Basic Rider Courses will provide the bikes and helmets and the teaching approach they use is that the students haven't ridden a bike before. They will teach you about the controls, how to use them and give you lots of practice. Around here, the Experienced Rider course requires you to use your own bike.
