A perfect example of why cruisers should stick to straight roads and showrooms.

It doesn't look like your front wheel is rolling in the 2nd pic. Two questions for you.
1) Is that you?
2) In my MSF class they had us pcatice straiting the bike to stop in a curve. Did you think about that or was it too late?

That's not him...He's highside, not lowside.

BTW, the camera will freeze the action when taking stills like that, including the wheel rotation.

I've seen this picture series before...
The story is that the guy hit the floorboard in the turn and too much weight was transferred to it. This effectively lifted the front wheel off the ground enough for it to lose traction and down he goes. I wonder how well that shirt protected him...

I would almost be willing to bet he grabbed some front brake when things started to go pear shaped, so as the wheel came up combined with a bit of brake could have stopped its rotation completely.

I'm sure his scars are a mark of pride.
His repair bill probably wilted him a bit though...

I think Zootech (or someone else) posted that photo in another thread. I think it's some dude 'ridin' the dragon' at Deal's Gap, but I'm not positive.
