Hello!




I just baught my Radian and it runs good and very strong. A couple of times it just shut off on me out of no where in mid stride. I was going about 70 the first time and 50 the second time. There was no sputter and plenty of gas. I switched from "on" to "reserve" and back and tried to start it in both positions and there was nothing. I went back later to put the bike in the back of the truck and it started back up just fine. I tried for 45 mins. to start it after the stall. The second time it did this I pulled every electric wire connection, checked it, then pluged it back in. it started after that but not instantly. When it stalls all the electronics worked and it cranked but it was like there was no fire to the plugs. The bike also stalled on me twice just after gripping the clutch to stop at a stop light. The plugs are good. HELP!!!!

sounds like the gas tank vent is stopped up.
go for a ride with the cap loose and see what happens.

Thanks. I will try that on Sunday. I have noticed that when I kill the bike and put it in the car port, it makes a humming noise on the gas cap. I figured out that the gas cap is trying to let out air and is having a hard time. The heat from the engine was heating the tank and making it expand. At least, that is what i believe.

the gas tank needs a vent so it can create a vacuum and get gas to the carbs.. your tank is trying to get air in, not out.
