K&N filters
Are k&N filters worth the money? Do I have to make changes to the my bike if I put K&N filters on?

K&N's are definitely worth the money, especially if they are properly cared for (Cleaned and oiled)
If you use the Replacement for the stock filter, no bike modifications should be necessary, however, if you are looking to use the Pod or Cone style filters, a rejet or remap will probably be in order.

Are you looking to install a replacement filter on a bike or replace the air box and everything with a set of the custom clamp-on type.
With the clamp-ons you might have to rejet the carbs. I run a set of UNI clamp-on filters on my sl350 and had to rejet, but I also have a 2 into 1 exhaust. UNI filters where a lot cheaper then the K&N and work very well.

all after market high speed air filters k-n cool or blue or bmc are only going to give you more power at (WOT) wide open throttle all the test show that the bmc is not a good filter it lets alot of stuff pass through while the k-n and cool blue are ok if you just get a drop in you will be fine if you drill the air box or get stacks you will need to map if you have fuel injection or jet if you have carbs
