Ok i need help finding out what this motor came out of, its a Suzuki 599cc motor i know that, the engine code is N705-135639, and it has 599cc stamped on the side. What i need really bad is to start this damn thing, it has been started before in the last year by the guy i bought it from and it as been left in his garage since then. he gave me the harness, and the coil packs and all the right stuff. But he doesnt know what it came out of. I can get it to crank by just taping the the starter with a + wire. But i also need wiring diagrams for just to start it. ( Its going in a Go Kart) Also it is carburated and i believe it has PEI. (Pointless Electronic Induction)
What i need.
Year?
Model it came from? or some way to get digrams?

Inline 4? V twin? Big single?
If you call a Suzuki dealer and give them that number, they may be able to tell you what year and model it came from.

N= 500—599cc
7= Four-stroke, four
05= fifth development version of that engine
You really need the frame number to tell you anything more about the bike.

PEI is pointless electronic Ignition
Is it a water-cooled motor or an air cooled motor? If air cooled it might be a bandit or katana motor.

That will only help if you have the VIN. The engine number only has info relative to the engine and not the bike it was fitted to.

I am in factory authorized suzuki training at MMI.. we have every suzuki resource material known to man.. besides.. i just had a project where I had to find out what year and bike a motor came out of based on its number..
*didn't have time to look tonight, i'll check for you on monday if you still need it.
