Howdy all! Yet another person from AZ!

My bike is a 1980 GS1000G (Shafties rule!) It's my restore project, and my daily driver. As a matter of fact, it's the only vehicle I've ever owned that's gotten better looking while I owned it. (I've been referred to at times as "automotive death" )

I hope you don't mind all the pics in my intro... I just love my bike!

Well, my x-wife would never allow me to have a motorcycle before, so my first bike was a divorce present to myself.

Three years ago I purchased my first bike, a Suzuki Marauder 800. I had to sell it a year and a half later to pay the rent (really long and dramatic story there), but I picked this one up last May.

Nice lookin' bike. Gotta love those old UJMs. I like it a lot better without the giant Windjammer and the bags. Those are great for long-haul touring, but I don't care for them on a daily driver.

We've just started getting some of the best riding weather of the year, so go have fun with it!

Nice bike man, glad you bailed on the bags, looks better that way id say, and i dont think anyone here would mind pictures of a bike, we all love our bikes

I used to live in Mesa, Arizona a few years back (510 South Extension, Apartment #1029 to be exact). Lovely seasonal changes out there. There's hot, hotter, God I can't breathe outside it's so hot, and plasma.

Beautiful, clean freeway system, though!
