2way radio + starcom1 question

FOR THE Lion_Lady (others please continue to the next paragraph):
===========================================
I wanted to thank you for helping me go with the wired communication system (starcom1 was immediately available in Israel, autocom usually sells only the cheapest Easi models here) although I was locked on the wireless ones, which don't have half the features of the high-end wired ones.
===========================================
I'm looking for buying a 2-way radio, actually a set of 2 radios.
I'm gonna use them with my new startcom1 on Burgman 400.
As I'm riding a scooter, the radios would be hidden in the trunk most if not all the time, so they don't have to be too tough - I'm more interested in speach quality and range.
My minimal requirements would be:
1. Support VOX
2. Have a headset connector (to connect it to the startcom1)
3. Price range would be somewhere around 100$ for a set of 2 (if there is something that has significant advantage - say, twice the range - I might be ready to go a little higher).
4. Anything I might have missed that is a must whan riding a bike/scooter
Thanks,
Jean
