Piston/cylinder clearance

I'm putting a new piston in my yz80 and i cant find anywhere what the piston/cylinder clearance is supposed to be, do you what its supposed to be or where i can find out?

You really should get a manual. That's a pretty ambitious project to take on without having clearances and torque values.
You need to check ring gap as well as piston clearnance. Heasd Bolt torque values, Valve clearances if 4 cycle.

I would go about .0015 on the bore but check else where for the Factory spec.

Thanks for the info. I am supposed to be getting a manual from a friend but i havent got it so i'll just wait till i get it rather than take any chances.
