I came off my bike last night
SO I was riding downtown in calgary and theres a guy at the side of the road, I look at him he looks at me and runs accross the road....My EFE slides from under me as I try to avoid the guy, Any how I all I get from the DRUNK twine is IM sorry. I hit him pretty hard, at about 30 k a hour, Ive busted a RIB, and my leftside signal lights, and got some gravel RASH on my alternator cover and my ARSE.....Ive been hurting all day and its slowly getting worse......I guess It could of been worse, OUCH....but it hurts when I laugh

That sucks, Dude.
Aside from your pain(let's be honest, it's YOUR pain
), it hurts me to know such a spiffy bike got rashed-up due to a lowly pedestrian.
I have never agreed with the whole 'pedestrians have the right-of-way' thing. If your too F'n stupid to make your way across the street at a crosswalk with lights to guide you, you should be taken out of the gene pool. Walking out into traffic has to one of the best signs that you need eliminating.
Too bad you can't sue the moron. Or sue to have him placed in protective custody. You know, to save yet another precious pedestrian(too bad 'ped'-ophile has been taken, it's a good word for 'em) from grievous injury while staggering around the road in blind ignorance.
My lawyer has always told me.... if your gonna hit someone, make sure you kill them(even if you have to take a couple of runs at them to do it). It's cheaper for everybody concerned. Good advice.

Then there won't be enough left of the bike or biker for it to matter.AdrianZ wrote:what if a 18 wheer hits a bike?9000white wrote:in any accident situation the motorcyclist is always at fault.
same way with 18 wheelers.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
