like dang...i just can;t get it out of my head...
this stuff is GREAT!!!! too bad most ppl's taste in music is prescribed to them, or else they could enjoy this stuff too maybe.

i'm talking about tunes from the 'classic era' mostly, i.e.:Canon's Jug stompers, Uncle Dave Macon, Earnest Stoneman, etc...also black music from the era is incredibly good too, from 'uns like Bukka White., BLind Blake, Mississippi John Hurt, Deford Bailey, Memphis Minnie, and all the rest...

I'm with you. Good stuff. I don't know them all by name, but I used to spend hours and hours in my buddy's basement while he played his records - he has thousands. Lots of them old 78's and quite valuable - anyway, he was into the same kind of stuff.

Music is timeless. I haven't listened to the radio in years - it just sucks. I love going through the music collections of others. There is a vast treasure trove of art to be found. Jam on...

There's some good stuff if you look for it, but I know what you mean. Because the 'bad' stuff is what sells and you can't avoid it if you try.

I do think there is still a lot of great music being made today - I just don't believe that they play enough good stuff on the radio.
